  1. @3MULTIPLE DOCTOR EPISODES

  4.         Regarding the # doctors eps here is my opinion on them in order
  5.         produced.
  6.  
  7.         3 Doctors.  The president pulls Pat out of his own time (the
  8.         scene is him running away from something) and plop him in Jon's
  9.         time.  Since one of the first things they do (after arguing) is
  10.         the telepathic contact.  it seems logical that the High Council
  11.         brought Pat somewhere where he was briefed then sent onto Jon.
  12.         Ditto for Hartnell as well.  This would require when they are
  13.         sent back that their memories are wiped (see below for hows and
  14.         whys according to me)
  15.  
  16.         5 Doctors  Pat seems to be breaking the law of tiem when he cuts
  17.         into Peter's stream to see the Brig's retirement  (however since
  18.         Peter is obviously not there (see mawdryn for why) he could do
  19.         it.  Im not sure where the pull Hartnell/Hurndall save it might
  20.         be somewhere near the latter half of the eps that we see.  Ive
  21.         always thought that since the time scoop came first that it
  22.         could violate the laws that were built into the tardis later.
  23.         As to why they seem to know each other I can only speculate that
  24.         either since they are totaly cut off in the death zone the only
  25.         other minds they can sense are each others thus they realise
  26.         they have been snatched.  or the scoop can also impart
  27.         information.  given how it probably homes in telepathicly once
  28.         its found them thsi would follow

  30.         2 Doctors  Lots of people complain about this with reason but I
  31.         think that complaints about Pat and Colin meeting are invalid.
  32.         It seems obvious to me from Pat's actions that He was snatched
  33.         with Jamie and sent byt the timelords there.  (pat on his own
  34.         would not work for them)  this gives us a similar situation as
  35.         to the 3 Doctors and thus the meeting is not a problem.  Colin
  36.         doesnt realise this and Pat doesnt tell him so it works

  39.  Ok as to why they can know information and lose it later as in 3
  40.  Doctors and possibly 2 Doctors I figure it like this.  President brings
  41.  Pat and Bill to Gallifrey and briefs them when they are to be sent back
  42.  he uses the matrix to erase their memories and store them so they dont
  43.  remember what happens.  If you watch Invasion of Time and Arc of
  44.  infinity you will see where i get this idea from.  Given Rassilon
  45.  reputed god level powers one supposes that since he could send the
  46.  seperate doctors back he could wipe their memories without the matrix
  47.  given that hes probably still attached to it anyways
